The Egyptian government has signed a memorandum of understanding between the Iron and Steel Industry Holding Company, part of the Ministry of Public Sector Business, and the Saudi Egyptian Industrial Investment Company to develop the country’s most important factories.

The Minister of the State Enterprise Sector said: “This signing is taking place within the framework of the State Ownership Policy document, expanding opportunities for cooperation and partnership with the private sector and attracting new investments.

He added: “Both sides have agreed to add new production lines for the production of glass panels used in solar power generation elements to meet the needs of the Egyptian market as part of the state’s plan to expand in this important sector.”

He explained that Al-Nasr Glass and Crystal Company is the first glassware company in the Middle East and holds three ISO certifications in quality, environment, safety and health.

At present, the company is doing its part to meet the needs of the local market for glass products, and in the next phase, oversees a comprehensive development plan and the addition of new production lines for some glass products required by the local market and some markets of neighboring countries. countries.
